Vehicle Safety
At Edge Driving Academy, safety isn’t just a priority—it’s the foundation of everything we do. Every lesson is built around modern dual-control vehicles equipped with the latest safety technology, giving students the confidence to learn while instructors maintain full oversight. From advanced driver-assistance systems to instructor brake pedals, enhanced mirrors, dashcams, and reverse cameras, our vehicles are designed to create a secure, supportive environment where new drivers can focus on building skills the right way.
Honda CR-V
Our Honda CR-V training vehicle delivers a confident, modern driving experience with safety at the core. It is equipped with Honda Sensing®, which includes Collision Mitigation Braking System, Forward Collision Warning, Lane Departure Warning, Road Departure Mitigation, Adaptive Cruise Control with Low-Speed Follow, and Lane Keeping Assist—helping students develop strong awareness and control. The multi-angle rearview camera with guidelines provides clear visibility when reversing, while the Advanced Compatibility Engineering body structure and comprehensive airbag system (including knee and side-curtain airbags with rollover sensor) add solid passive protection.
For dual-control instruction, our CR-V features an additional instructor brake pedal, enhanced rear-view mirrors for optimal visibility, a dashcam for lesson review, and a reverse camera—giving both student and instructor the tools for safe, effective practice in real-world conditions.

Toyota Camry
The Toyota Camry offers smooth, predictable handling paired with one of the most complete standard safety suites available. Toyota Safety Sense 2.5+ comes standard and includes Pre-Collision System with Pedestrian Detection, Lane Departure Alert with Steering Assist, Dynamic Radar Cruise Control, Lane Tracing Assist, Road Sign Assist, and Automatic High Beams—features that help reinforce good habits and reduce risk during lessons. Ten airbags and the Star Safety System (ABS, Electronic Brake-force Distribution, Vehicle Stability Control, and more) provide excellent protection, while the standard rearview camera aids low-speed maneuvers.
Like the Honda, the Camry is fitted with an additional instructor brake pedal, extra rear-view mirrors, a dashcam, and a reverse camera so students can focus on learning while instructors maintain full oversight and safety.
